AWARDS

Every year the Academy of Sciences of Cuba ges together with different centres for the Annual Prizes, with the aim of giving recognition to some authors for the contribution and good results obtained in outstanding investigations within the scientific production in the country. These awards are related to the development in the different branches of sciences – may them be exact or natural ones; social and humanistic; medical; biological; novel engineering techniques, or in any inter-or transdisciplinary fields – highlighted for their contribution to knowledge and impact as to their professional rigor and novelty.
