Founded in 1982, this forum
of spare parts soon turned into an organized movement for scientific
and technological creativeness in which participate citizens interested
in finding solutions of a social and economic character pertaining
to their social spheres.
This is fostered in different
ways, as for example, the generalization of obtained results,
and it is indeed relevant the capacity for innovations from all
Cuban citizens: f.e., young men linked to the Juvenile Technical
Brigades (BTJ) as well as workers, technicians, professionals
and housewives.
The ranks of awards presented
are: Mention, Special Mention, Prominent, Relevant and
Special Distinction; but in the first place, it is outstanding
to mention the moral stimulus and recognition for all men and
women who form part of this movement.
