EXPECTED RESULTS: - To continue the development
and perfectioning of Technological Softwares for the support of
Neurosurgery.
- To develop a first version of the Cuban NDRS compatible to modern
supports for hardware and software (specifically Microsoft WINDOWS).
Also to incorporate graphics facilities in its interface with
the user.
- To document and validate the product.
- To obtain its registration at the CCEEM and to elaborate its
documentation for the Declaration in Conformity with the Common
European Market (CEM).

Processing System Three-dimensional fusion and image visualization
for stereotactic Neurosurgery.
NUMBER OF INVESTIGATORS: 14 DURATION: 3 years
EXPECTED RESULTS: - Development of the new processing
tools, three-dimensional fusion and image visualization for stereotactic
Surgery. - Planning of MNR, using MNR/ATC fusion-images - Planning
of three-dimensional images - Fusion of anatomic and functional
images - Planning with angiographic images (DSA and ARM)
