The objective of this department
is the attention of affections associated to the neurological
diagnosis that can hinder the restoration treatment period, such
as:
• Adequate cutting of healthy or sick hand and toe nails
(onicomicosis and onigrophicosis).
• Keratolic lesions, in dorsal, hand or toe nail or sole
of foot, that can eventually hinder wandering by rupture of capillary
vessels and increase spasms (simple flat hyperkeratosis, milliard
hyperkeratosis, Achillian Hyperkeratosis).
• Callus clavus
• Sole of foot warts
• Simple or acute onicocrytosis
• Distal and dorsal tylosis
• Interdigital, subungeal, parietal heloma
• Manual or vibratory massage
This specialty, within Neurological
Restoration, is aimed at the development of reeducation treatments
to correct in coordination with other specialties, the approach
to affections in inferior limbs, podiatric alterations in orthopedic,
dermatological and circulatory traumatisms frequent in neurological
patients.
In the same way, this service
extends its attention farther from its clinical character, by
offering aesthetics services to hands and feet, specially those
included in the Program.
