CIREN’s morphology lab offers assistential service to the Clinic in the hypathologic diagnosis of re-dried tissue (biopsies) to patients submitted to surgical procedures, as well as the performance of autopsies on dead patients to know the different causes that provoked their deaths, by means of a pathologic-clinic correlation of great importance in medical practice.

It performs immuno-hystochemical tests for TH, Chat, Fibrillary acidic Protein, NGF receptor and morphometry through an imaging analyzer.
